Reflection




It is to be recognized that teaching English over the years is a very complex subject, however, over time this second language has been identified and given value.
Many studies have shown that most teachers who teach in different institutions are not trained to provide English teaching and English is taken as the object of filling academic burdens, however, many teachers within their few resources seek to do their best and bring significant changes in education.


                           "The real journey of learning is not to look for new landscapes but to look with new eyes. Marcel Proust."


We must break the English paradigm as difficult, we must change the way we teach and practice our knowledge.
Teaching is an act of love and patience but also of creativity.
The teacher through methodological strategies allows students to get closer to teaching and turn learning into something meaningful.

My internships



  • One of the first interventions was to learn the nouns, this class was fun and very dynamic since through practical exercises knowledge is built.


Coloring exercises, exit to the board, underline that allow to identify the nouns and classify them according to their properties.



We also carry out concentration exercises and in turn practiced what we saw in class.

  • Another of the topics covered were the articles, the defined and undefined ones were identified and made clear following exercises, video presentation and group dynamics.

The Adjectives were a subject of great emotion, we played, guessed and recognized our classmates.

We played who, By groups the students named qualities and described the people in the images, whoever knew the correct answer mentioned the name of the one who believed that reference was made.

After playing several times they would settle back by rows all in the room and it was time to describe and guess about people in the classroom or objects.





MY PRACTICE SITE




The Pablo VI school is divided into two blocks, block 2 is my practice site, here they study the groups 4th, 5th, preschool and first.
This block is much smaller than the main one, however, the love, understanding and home feeling is in this cozy place.


Classrooms are somewhat small and very hot, teachers try to carry out varied work that allows them to carry out creative and didactic activities.


The Pastoral Project is one of the projects that stands out most in the institution, however, the reader plan is a project that is pointed out with great commitment, making reading picnic, visits to the library, canning reading, among other activities that involve the educational community in general.


Context.


The Pablo VI college 


T
he Pablo VI college educational institution is recognized at the sector level thanks to its training and good academic and disciplinary performance. The institution has 70% of students studying for the coverage regime and 30% private and subsidized by the curia. The institution is located in Medellin, commune 3, Barrio Manrique Oriental with an economic stratum 1 and 2, the nearest schools are the I.E Manuela Beltran and the II. E. Olaya Herrera


The educational institution guides its pedagogical activity in the principles of the social-cognitive model with a humanist-Christian approach, which are evident in the profile of the graduates of the institution through the formation of the different efforts: educational, administrative, academic, management, community management and pastoral care which make the institution a complete order.

                                 



Since 2018 the College aims to the "Be Better" awards to which many leading institutions belong at the municipal level, therefore it is in constant construction without neglecting the 4 values that characterize it: FAMILY, CONVIVENCIA, SPIRITUALITY AND Commitment.



  



The educational establishment has groups from transition to eleventh grade in both days, the day of the morning students study preschool 1, first 1, fourth, fifth, and high school, in the .day of the afternoon this preschool 2, 3 and 4, seconds and thirds.
